Charge $5 and stream the movie online for regions where it is not available
When "The Secret" first came out, there was no DVD, they charged $5 & you watched it streaming online. It was a pretty awesome delivery method in my opinion.
Since I cannot see this in Canada (which I'm quite upset about) this would be an awesome solution for myself, and many others whose questions I've seen. And might be an awesome revenue stream for you as well.
Thanks for the movie, I can't wait to see it.
PS-This is similar to another question [sell the movie on iTunes or similar e-seller and have a webcast with makers/cast], but I don't… more

Billboard ads: WHO IS JOHN GALT?
Place a Post-It note on a white background saying: WHO IS JOHN GALT? Those who don't know will be prompted, by curiosity, to go to their computer and check it out...create a cult-like atmosphere!

Show parts 2 and 3 prior to the 2012 elections.
Show parts 2 and 3 prior to the 2012 elections. People must see where the country is headed if we dont't change the current Senate and Administrative houses.

Use the same cast for the second film
I have read some rumors that your producers are considering trying to add "big name" actors to the cast and possibly changing cast members from the first film. Changing cast a third of the way through a film series will doom your production. Nothing is more distracting than having to relearn who is who. Your actors for Part I were great, and I mean really superb. Dagny and Hank have some real chemistry going, and casting Graham Beckel for Wyatt really made his character stand out. I am so looking forward to Parts II and III. Please don't ruin it… more

Pre-sell parts 2 and 3
Make an offer to the public to raise funds. Offer a pre-order for both theater tickets and DVD's in a package, supplying as productions complete and release. In this way, the public becomes the investor, and maybe you could offer a reduced price packages or special offers, whatever. Even the cigarrette case?

Release the film on Bluray.
The HD release of the film on Bluray should command a higher price than the DVD. Hopefully it could bring in higher margins. I would happily pay $30 to own the film in HD on a Bluray disk.

Show it in large stadiums like they did with the Michael Jackson Movie after his death.
Sell advanced tickets for stadiums, get a large format screen. Make it an event. Maybe get a few stars or the director/producer to come in and give a talk before hand. Show the film, sell T-shirts etc. Just like a Concert.

Atlas Statue
In the movie, isn't there a small Atlas statue on or behind Rearden's desk in the factory? YOU NEED TO REPRODUCE THIS and sell it-an art deco style Atlas carrying the world, like your stylized image. I know a lot of capitalists who want this on their desk. I DO!

Bring Atlas to the real-life Starnesville!!!
The town that crumbled after the closing of the 20th Century Motor Company, all because the reckless owners gave full control to the masses. The sadness of that town was also the pivotal moment in the book when Dagny began to see the truth! What other city in America has gone from capitalist prosperity to community poverty due to government intervention and a corrupt union? What other city was the motor of the world until the billions in federal "bailouts"? Every day I drive to and from my business I think of this chapter in the book. I see the… more

Temporary Billboards on the Cheap
Create 4 X 8 Ft "Who Is John Galt?" banners that could be temporarily hung over a major roadway via a walking bridge or walkway (that might have a security fence to hang it off of). I have seen this type of thing often, especially at election times. Use a couple of bedsheets stitched or stapled together using spray paint. Just make it big! Do it the opening day of the movie so it can be seen in prime time traffic AM and PM. It's quick to put up. I have seen anyone hassled for this type of thing. If… more

Ask the public to donate advertising dollars...
I would like to pre-purchase my Atlas Shrugged Part II movie ticket. A special ticket with one-of-a-kind artwork of Rearden Steel on it, or something otherwise. I would happily pay 25.00 for it in support of its production and future release and advertising campaign.

Francisco Money Speech as a promo
Have Jsu Garcia do the 'Money Speech' with NYC and/or movie graphics as a backdrop. The Money Speech is from the first part of the story and gives more understanding of Francisco, yet sets the stage for future conflict. This could be used as a promo or as added DVD content for future sales.

Offer people ability to invest in Parts 2 and 3 to ensure their timely production.
20,000 people at 1,000 each would raise enough for one segment.

Interrupt an Obama speech with a John Galt message
As painful as tonight's speech on job creation was, it would have been wonderful to hear Obama overridden with "This is John Galt speaking...". Obama looks like he is using Atlas Shrugged as a playbook on how to annoy people like us.
